About Hallmark Windows and Siding

We’ve been replacing windows and siding for Maryland homeowners since 1999. The company is family-owned, still based in the same area we started in, and most of our business today comes from referrals and repeat customers – which is the way we prefer it. Over 25 years we’ve worked on more than 5,000 homes from Annapolis to Leesburg to Frederick, and the crews that work for us have been doing this for a long time.

We hold MHIC #49261 in Maryland and contractor license 2705171162A in Virginia. We’re insured, bonded, and licensed in every jurisdiction we work in. That’s a baseline – it shouldn’t be a selling point, but unfortunately in this industry it sometimes is.

Certifications and Manufacturer Authorizations

We carry direct certifications from the manufacturers we install. That matters – it means we’ve met their installation standards, our crews have been trained on their products, and when something comes up under warranty, we’re the installer the manufacturer already knows:

  • James Hardie Preferred Contractor – Hallmark is a certified James Hardie Preferred Contractor, authorized to install HardiePlank lap siding, HardiePanel vertical siding, HardieShingle shake siding, HardieTrim, and HardieSoffit products throughout Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia.
  • CertainTeed Authorized Vinyl Siding Installer – Hallmark installs CertainTeed Monogram and MainStreet vinyl siding with access to the full CertainTeed color and profile catalog.
  • Vytex Windows Authorized Dealer – Hallmark is an authorized dealer for Vytex premium vinyl replacement windows, a Virginia-based manufacturer of energy-efficient replacement window systems.
  • CertainTeed Roofing Certified Contractor – Hallmark installs CertainTeed Landmark architectural shingles and impact-resistant roofing systems.

Hallmark started in 1999 in the Maryland suburbs of DC. The original idea was straightforward: do good work, price it fairly, stand behind it. Twenty-five years later that’s still the pitch. We’ve been recognized as a Top 500 Remodeler and Top 200 Exterior Contractor, which is nice – but the number we pay more attention to is that the majority of our new customers come from someone who’s worked with us before recommending us to a neighbor or family member.
