At Hallmark we give back to the community in many ways.

We
recently made a donation to Ms. Reese's Language Arts class
at William Lemmel middle school in Baltimore. We hope anyone who
is reading this who is looking for a great place to donate money
will also donate to this wonderful cause. Visit www.DonorsChoose.org to
look for other worthwhile educational causes to support.
Here is a thank you letter from the
teacher:
"Dear Hallmark Construction & Next
Day Gutters,
On behalf of myself and the students at William H. Lemmel, we
extend to you our sincere appreciation for your generosity. This
wonderful gift could not have come at a better time. I was literally
in the process of trying to creatively modify my monthly expenses,
so that I would be able to afford a few gifts for friends, family,
and people in need, as well as, purchase the items that you have
graciously gifted to our classroom. I will sleep peacefully tonight
knowing that my students will not have to do without, because
of their teacher's over zealous Christmas spirit.
Thanks a million,
Ms. Reese and the students of William H. Lemmel"
If you can, please
donate.
Here
is a press release from a recent example of our work in the community:
Local Remodeling Company Goes Green for Montgomery
County Families Recycling Proceeds to Benefit Agricultural History
Hallmark President Meredith
W. "Zeke" Hall presents
donation to Friends of the Agricultural History Farm Park's Acting
President Mimi Stubbs.
For Immediate Release
October 25, 2006
Derwood, MD: Taking what could become trash and turning it into
eco-friendly cash, Bethesda-based Hallmark Windows and Siding
is going green for local families.
"We are taking the old aluminum siding from a job in Derwood
to a recycling center and giving the proceeds to Montgomery County's
Agricultural Farm Park," says Meredith W. "Zeke" Hall,
Hallmark's president. "The farm park is in Derwood, so the
money will be recycled right back into the community. This park
is an incredible resource for Montgomery County's children and
families."
Situated along Rock Creek in Derwood, the Agricultural History
Farm Park is a 410-acre complex with a farmhouse, barn, assorted
farm buildings and an activity center. It provides area families
with the opportunity to sample life on the farm from circa 1850
to the present.
"I grew up in rural Frederick County and a lot of what used
to be country is now suburbs," Hall says. "It's important
that everyone has the chance to experience the roots of our community."
Bethesda-based Hallmark Windows & Siding LLC, Inc has been
doing business in the Washington D.C. Metro area for more than
a decade. It is a family owned business that is dedicated to
improving the community. Hallmark's service area includes Northern
Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland.
