Custom Sheild Windows come in two varieties:

Custom Shield® Windows - Tilt
Peaceful easy cleaning.
Both sashes slide open vertically to let in
fresh air. And, best of all, they tilt into the room for easy
cleaning on both sides. Especially nice for upper story windows—no
more climbing ladders on window washing day!
Whether on their own or combined to form
picture windows, bays or multiple units, Custom Shield tilt windows
will harmonize with any building project.
The biggest advantage of Custom Shield windows
is the variety of choices, options and sizes.
Interiors: Wood interiors provide an opportunity
to add a custom touch to your home. Choose from Pine, Oak, Cherry, Maple,
Mahogany, Knotty Pine or American Fir.
Exteriors: Choose virtually maintenance-free
aluminum exteriors in four standard colors and several Flexicolor finishes.
Hardware: Goldtone sash locks are standard.
Bright brass and white finishes are optional.
Grilles: Available with true divided lite,
simulated divided lite, airspace grilles and removable wood perimeter
grilles.
Glazing Options: Several
glazing options are available, including Value R5 with two Low E surfaces
and krypton/agron gas-filled airspace. Choose from specialty glazings
like tinted, spandrel, rain, evergreen, obscure and tempered, to name
just a few.
Custom Shield® Windows - Casement
Flexible enough to fit any imagination.
No matter what you're dreaming, our Custom
Shield® casement windows can help you bring that
custom look to life. They come in virtually unlimited sizes, multiple
wide units, picture combinations, bows and angle bays. And our casements
swing open a full 90 degrees to provide extra ventilation and easy cleaning.
For a perfect fit in your home, Custom Shield casement windows
are designed to fit any existing opening.
- Choose from insul or triple
insul glass. The more lites of glass, the better the
energy-efficient insulating power and the greater the
reduction in noise.
- Optional Thermogold™ Low
E coatings filter UV rays to protect furnishings from
fading while also insulating the home in winter and summer.
- Airspaces provide insulating
power from summer heat and winter cold. Adding safe, colorless
argon gas or an argon/krypton mixture to the airspace
significantly increases the window unit's energy efficiency.
- Tough dual seals virtually
eliminate air and gas migration, ensuring the window unit's
efficiency.
